(First off, I want to apologize with how long this has taken me to get back into. I really should do a post at some point of; Hey I am back! Kind of. Maybe a little. But then that’s a given isn’t it?)
I am no blogging expert. I am learning as I’m going. Some things I fuck up, somethings I pick up. Most things I just wing it. Either way here 1 thing I’ve learnt as a book blogger part 35;

So alright crazy lady what are you on about. Let me explain my brain. I think I am too nice sometimes when I write book reviews. (HAHaha me nice? *cough*) Yes, nice. See I get contacted a lot by Indie Authors, I bet you guys all do. But I tend to find I get contacted a lot by Authors who I like to call Baby Indie Authors, BIA. (Please don’t take offense by this, none is intended. If I was aiming for an offense I would have told you to fuck off.)
So what I mean by BIA; Authors who have just released their first book or have a few out but zero to under 20 reviews on Goodreads or Amazon. When I am the first person to leave a review for someone, I feel pressured to be polite and nice. Even if I just thought the book was a two-star ok. Because I know if I leave a not so positive review, anyone that Author then contacts for a review request, will see my review and maybe get put off.
Now if I strongly disliked the book or it wasn’t my cup of tea because of the genre, but I still gave it a chance. I always mention that in my review. It’s not you but me kind of review. We can’t like everything, can we?
Do you guys find you do this as well? Also would you guys like me to continue this series again?
