Review: The whole story did feel slow paced but it was a solid good story. I like how the paranormal elements were done in this story. It felt more of a crime based book at the start with just paranormal twists. The more it went on the more it leaned towards the paranormal side. It didn’t overpower you at the start with it though. It was just there, then the further on it went it explained more as the main character learned more. It opened itself up to a wide range of paranormal elements near the end.
The conversions did feel a bit stiff when there were more than two people involved. They all sounded the same or were saying stuff a bit too formal/stiff. Considering how well some of the people knew each other, didn’t feel it was necessary for them to be so stiff with each other.
The twist was well done, giving it further it crime thriller element.
